What is my first step if I am interested in a procedure?
We encourage you to call to schedule a consultation in order to discuss your specific concerns. Only then will we be able to gather a detailed history of your problem and perform a proper physical examination, allowing us to determine the treatment plan most suitable to your needs. You may also request an appointment time online. We look forward to helping you achieve your goals for self-improvement.
Do you charge for consultations?
Dr. Berman's fee for cosmetic consultations is $85.00. Dr. Berman does charge other fees for non-cosmetic consultations, dermatology visits, dermatology procedures, etc.
Are non-cosmetic procedures covered by insurance?
Dr. Berman is a member of many insurance plans that may cover non-cosmetic procedures. You may want to first check with your insurance company to see if they will cover non-cosmetic visits or procedures should you see Dr. Berman.

Do you offer financing?
The Berman Skin Institute does provide two financing options for procedures costing $750.00 or more. Please check out these two options: Capital One and Care Credit.
Are procedures tax-deductible?
The IRS may consider your skin surgery procedure a medical expense, and it may be tax deductible. Click here for more information. What about employer flexible spending plans?
Many Employer Flexible Spending Plans cover the cost of skin surgery. Your employer may be able to put away money that you can use for such surgeries.
